Community Resources

Here at Animal Rescue Alliance, Inc. we know the human-animal bond is essential for bettering the lives of both animals and their families. We strive to keep pets with their loving families whenever possible by providing services such as free education, low cost spay and neuter resources for qualifying pet owners, a pet food bank, free basic animal behavioral counseling, and courtesy rehoming posts if you find you are unable to keep your pet.

If you have any questions about how we can assist you in keeping your pet, please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly at ara.ga.staff@gmail.com

Education

We can answer questions and provide information about basic animal care including the importance of providing monthly heart worm preventative, the benefits of spaying and neutering, and other questions regarding pet care and pet adoption.

Basic Animal Behavioral Counseling

Does Fido or Sassy need a little extra direction? We can provide you with advice and online services to help facilitate their transition into well-behaved members of the family.

Pet Food Bank

We never want an animal to be rehomed simply because their families are struggling to feed them. That is why we intend to offer pet food bank services on a quarterly rotation for qualifying families.

Low Cost Spay and Neuter

For your convenience, we offer transportation services for cats and dogs to and from local spay and neuter clinics. This service is ideal for pet owners who may need assistance getting their animal to a low-cost clinic.

We also assist with Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs by providing transportation support for community cats. Trap loans are available as part of our effort to make TNR more accessible and effective for those helping manage local feral cat populations.

A surcharge is applied to help offset the cost of spaying and neutering animals in our rescue program. By using this service, you are not only helping your own pets or community cats—you are also supporting our mission to reduce pet overpopulation through responsible, compassionate care.

Thank you for working with us to make a difference.

Courtesy Rehoming Posts

If you are forced to rehome your pet, we will make a courtesy post for them on our website. The animal will remain in your care and we will not be involved in the rehoming process itself. ARA assumes no responsibility for transactions involving pet rehoming between private individuals. We strongly advise all parties involved to interact in a safe and secure manner, including meeting in a public venue. We would also encourage people looking to rehome an animal to thoroughly vet any potential adopters.

What our adopters are saying

I adopted the sweetest cat from this shelter nearly a year ago! Animal Rescue Alliance Inc. has a wonderful team of individuals who are genuinely passionate about what they do. All of them were so kind when I went in to adopt a cat, and it was evident that all the animals at their shelter are treated with so much care and love. I could not recommend adopting from this shelter enough.
